1. Wayanad Tourist Places: Banasura Sagar Dam

It is located 22 km away from Kalpetta. This dam is the biggest dam in India and 2nd largest dam in Asia. It is one of the best tourist destinations in Wayanad and mostly advertised in the promotion of tourism of Wayanad.
This Dam is across the banks of Karamanathodu River, a branch of River Kabini. It is located in the beautiful hills of Banasura. This hill is the 3rd biggest cliff in the Indian Western Ghats.

Thushargiri falls are located at a distance of 32 kilometers from Kalpetta district and about 45 kilometers from Kozhikode. At a distance of 39 km from Kalpetta, this Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1973 and is known as Muthunga Wildlife Sanctuary and this a sanctuary which focuses mainly on conserving the Elephants in Wayanad area of Kerala. At a distance of about 17 kilometers from Kalpetta, This hill is a mountain cliff is quite famous in the Western Ghats of India. Located at the height of 2100 meters above sea level.
